NQF Level 5 | 147 Credits | Occupational Certificate – Design Thinking Practitioner
The purpose of the NQF Level 5 Design Thinking Practitioner qualification is to prepare learners to apply human-centred design thinking principles to solve problems and improve products, services, and processes within an organisational context. Learners who complete this programme will gain the skills and knowledge required to understand user needs, define challenges, generate creative ideas, and develop practical solutions through iterative design approaches.
The qualification develops competencies in empathy research, problem definition, ideation techniques, prototyping, and user testing. Learners will also build capabilities in collaboration, creative problem-solving, and applying design thinking tools within multidisciplinary teams.
