The purpose of the NQF Level 5 Cybersecurity Analyst qualification is to prepare learners to detect, analyse, and respond to cybersecurity threats within an organisation’s digital environment. Learners who complete this programme will gain the skills and knowledge required to monitor network activity, conduct vulnerability assessments, investigate security breaches, implement protective measures, and support organisational cybersecurity compliance frameworks. They will also develop competencies in threat analysis, security operations monitoring, incident reporting, risk mitigation, and applying cybersecurity tools and technologies. By acquiring these capabilities, learners will be equipped to strengthen organisational security posture, protect information assets, and contribute to a resilient cybersecurity environment. They will be able to:

  • Monitor networks, systems, and applications for potential security threats and anomalies,
